I’m being haunted by a terrible ghost<\/p>\n
It keeps me awake knocking on my bedpost<\/p>\n
I’ve tried to be a patient host<\/p>\n
I’ve even tried raising a midnight toast<\/p>\n
But the phantom returns every night to boast<\/p>\n

This terrible ghost is always there<\/p>\n
Making sure my flaws are laid bare<\/p>\n
It fixes me with a judgemental glare<\/p>\n
I wish its ghastly sheet would tear<\/p>\n
Because it has given me an awful scare<\/p>\n

That terrible ghost drags across the floor<\/p>\n
Making sure that I don’t have to snore<\/p>\n
I’ve never been so afraid before<\/p>\n
Keeping it company has become quite a chore<\/p>\n
I just don’t think I can take it anymore<\/p>\n

You terrible ghost it is time to pack your bag<\/p>\n
Tear your sheet and make a white flag<\/p>\n
Your haunting days have hit a snag<\/p>\n
Get moving you ghoul no time to drag<\/p>\n
And don’t expect anything from me in your mailbag<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Goodbye terrible ghost, again I say adieu<\/p>\n
Running you off has been a breakthrough<\/p>\n
You aren’t around to let my failures accrue<\/p>\n
Even at your worst I found a way to push through<\/p>\n
I feel so alive, fresh and brand new<\/p>\n
