One fine morning as I stood in balcony<\/p>\n
To breathe in the air freshy<\/p>\n
My eyes caught sight of<\/p>\n
A pigeon grey-black on the corner pot.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
As our sights held each other together<\/p>\n
She hastly ran and took on flight.<\/p>\n
This was what everyday happened<\/p>\n
Between me and her for a day or two more.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Finally one morning, as usual<\/p>\n
I stood in the balcony<\/p>\n
And she flew off slowly<\/p>\n
Leaving behind her pair of\u00a0 li’l egg twinkle.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This wrote a new chapter in my life<\/p>\n
Of expectant pigeon’s life.<\/p>\n
In a fortnight, I was blessed<\/p>\n
With two little angels yellow-brown.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Instilling new hopes in my soul<\/p>\n
As I saw her nurture her kids<\/p>\n
Putting little in their mouth, food<\/p>\n
And warming her under her feather.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
On one night windy<\/p>\n
Rain was lashing badly<\/p>\n
Pouring all drops in her pot<\/p>\n
So I shaded her house with asbestos sheet.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Slowly they shed their yellow-brown hair<\/p>\n
To put on grey-black feather<\/p>\n
And then they spread their wings<\/p>\n
Practicing to fly within the premises.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Most of the time I saw them dozing<\/p>\n
And thought they might have fallen sick<\/p>\n
When one fine day they took their maiden trip<\/p>\n
Enjoying the freedom to flip.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Off and on now they visited my hearth<\/p>\n
Only to have the grains I spread<\/p>\n
But by a months time they gained strength<\/p>\n
And flew off in the world so wide.<\/p>\n
