{"id":58457,"date":"2019-06-24T13:17:24","date_gmt":"2019-06-24T17:17:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=58457"},"modified":"2019-06-24T13:17:24","modified_gmt":"2019-06-24T17:17:24","slug":"ninth-hour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2019\/06\/ninth-hour\/","title":{"rendered":"Ninth Hour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"CENTER\">\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n<p align=\"CENTER\">\n<p>Sometimes I wonder<\/p>\n<p>What has it all<\/p>\n<p>been for<\/p>\n<p>Why and how<\/p>\n<p>did I get to this point<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I started, I was so happy<\/p>\n<p>My eyes were clear and bright<\/p>\n<p>without the haze that came with the<\/p>\n<p>Addiction<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The road was hard<\/p>\n<p>And tough<\/p>\n<p>Full of holes and hills<\/p>\n<p>Rocks and cliffs<\/p>\n<p>Made the going hard<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I was able to the journey<\/p>\n<p>Slowly, but I made it<\/p>\n<p>I was proud of it<\/p>\n<p>Now I don&#8217;t see what I have<\/p>\n<p>to even be proud of.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I know why I stopped.
