Yeah right.<\/p>\n<p>coffee and dining tables?<\/p>\n<p>cluttered-ly<\/p>\n<p>just like the rest of me.<\/p>\n<p>Honestly, health is junky too.<\/p>\n<p>like a carbohydrate zoo<\/p>\n<p>hate to be trite,<\/p>\n<p>but I am what I eat, right?<\/p>\n<p>sugar and spice &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>ain\u2019t always nice.<\/p>\n<p>But some things aren\u2019t trashing<\/p>\n<p>sit-ups, squats, face flushing<\/p>\n<p>inches, body shrinking<\/p>\n<p>albeit slowly.<\/p>\n<p>My mind is a stress<\/p>\n<p>from all this Covid mess<\/p>\n<p>use some advice<\/p>\n<p>and trash the rest.<\/p>\n<p>As a teacher, for the littlest<\/p>\n<p>I always give my best<\/p>\n<p>they come out walking<\/p>\n<p>and some a little babbling.<\/p>\n<p>But art, it heals me<\/p>\n<p>poetry fills a need, you see<\/p>\n<p>just like this poem<\/p>\n<p>my wounds that were open<\/p>\n<p>now are a-closin\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>My therapy, it\u2019s green<\/p>\n<p>the smallest pets I\u2019ve seen<\/p>\n<p>anoles, there are many<\/p>\n<p>they calm me visually<\/p>\n<p>as they jump and fight lazily<\/p>\n<p>take away my misery<\/p>\n<p>and bring me joy daily.<\/p>\n<p>-Sandra Johnson, 6\/13\/20<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m messy, uptight.
