Thus why I have chosen to enroll in this marathon; to share what insights I have garnered from my own life.<br \/>\nWe are cosmic entities passing through a veil of evanescent dust.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As Ikkyu said,<br \/>\n<em>Forests and fields, rocks and weeds\u2014my true<br \/>\ncompanions.<br \/>\nThe wild ways of the Crazy Cloud will never<br \/>\nchange.<br \/>\nPeople think I\u2019m mad but I don\u2019t care;<br \/>\nIf I\u2019m a demon here on earth, there is no need<br \/>\nto fear the hereafter.<\/p>\n<p><\/em>and in response,<\/p>\n<p><em>Crazy Cloud; Koan completer\u2014<br \/>\nthey think I\u2019m mad too.<br \/>\nI\u2019ll opt for stars and streams,<br \/>\nwaves and grass\u2014we\u2019ll<br \/>\nfind lovers in her blessings.<\/p>\n<p>Zen vagabond,<br \/>\nare you down where demons stir,<br \/>\nsearching for enlightenment?<br \/>\nOr are you up there<br \/>\nlaughing in awe?<br \/>\nDid the winds blow you over<br \/>\ncold mountain?<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I think I saw you in the morning hour\u2026<br \/>\nCrazy Cloud\u2014<br \/>\nDenouncer of Ossified Masters&#8211;<br \/>\nwill you join me for Shikantaza?<br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poetry is a practice of magick; using words to transfer the energy one is experiencing.
