I wonder why<\/p>\n<p>you become so erratic as a teen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Was it because of your relationship<\/p>\n<p>with your father and mother?<\/p>\n<p>Or the low self-esteem you suffered<\/p>\n<p>because of facial acne?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Like you, your cousin, Joe,<\/p>\n<p>died unexpectedly a few years ago,<\/p>\n<p>but he led a relatively full life,<\/p>\n<p>one you were never afforded.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I wonder about your afterlife<\/p>\n<p>and ask myself \u201cAre you at peace?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When my life comes to its end<\/p>\n<p>will we three reconnect?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our lives are separate stories<\/p>\n<p>containing suspenseful moments,<\/p>\n<p>with their own unique endings<\/p>\n<p>some tragic, some unforeseen, some abrupt\u2014<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>some unforgettable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wondering \u00a0 For Billy, Who Died Too Young &nbsp; I am surprised at how often I have thought about you over all these decades.
