Leave your expectations at the door of the delivery room  <\/p>\n<p>You will begin by following the instructions meticulously, reading several books even before baking begins. You will be aiming for a Michelin Star worthy bake but will be happy if the outcome is healthy.<\/p>\n<p>At the early stages you will be delirious. It\u2019s important to accept that you can\u2019t always be in control.<\/p>\n<p>So fold in love and fun<br \/>\n(even when the recipe states discipline).<br \/>\nAdd the bubbles and dragons<br \/>\n(even if the recipes asks for homework).<br \/>\nAdd the clich\u00e9s,<br \/>\nlike dancing in the rain,<br \/>\nsplashing in the puddles<br \/>\nand looking for the pot of gold<br \/>\nat the end of the rainbow. <\/p>\n<p>Season liberally with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.<br \/>\nMoisturise your hands before shaping and moulding<br \/>\n(but remember this delicacy will find their own form<br \/>\nand the main method is to allow growth and freedom to explore).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recipe for surviving motherhood WARNING: this recipe is not full proof, it will require tweaking and the outcome has no guarantees.
