Their struggle. They think<\/p>\n<p>Their stories could be similar but they don&#8217;t see<\/p>\n<p>what some have come to know.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is a day coming<\/p>\n<p>Where hope breathes true<\/p>\n<p>and the sun rises for all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Questions push the edge, offering a lifeline<\/p>\n<p>but fear mires progress, drowning in drifts.<\/p>\n<p>How could he and be like me?<\/p>\n<p>Yeats said it best when he said<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;the centre cannot hold.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Desert lives crack and cry,<\/p>\n<p>gasping for air tainted with tumbleweed commerce, sandy greed<\/p>\n<p>and stubby personal gain &#8211; equality wanes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is a day coming<\/p>\n<p>Where hope breathes true<\/p>\n<p>and the sun rises for all.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So grab my hand, let&#8217;s fall on our knees,<\/p>\n<p>open wide our hearts and eyes, receive the rain.<\/p>\n<p>Sew up divisive cud with the sweet cream<\/p>\n<p>of humanity&#8217;s purpose and fall into<\/p>\n<p>a time where there is room in our oasis<\/p>\n<p>for all humans.
