Following others,\r\nseeking that air of mystery and hope.\r\nI found other kisses. I looked everywhere, but for you.\r\nA shadow, but life went on. Distrustful, sharper,\r\nwatching in the bright sunshine. But, every once \r\nI wondered, why did I feel like you \r\nheld my heart in your hands? \r\n\r\nForty-one years later, I saw you.\r\nYou were listed on Amazon, a published\r\nmystery writer, a doctor without an office,\r\nstill roaming through life, hiding from something.\r\nI read the book, but your essence wasn't there.\r\nHeard from my sister that you had a band\r\nof rock and roll throwbacks. \r\n\r\nStill in the shadows, but wiser, I'll never look again.\r\nYou had your mystery, your breath, a moment.\r\nI'd rather wander the world, looking at other\r\nmysteries, with someone who sees me with joy.\r\nI like the dark lit jazz bars and paper \r\numbrellas with the daylight sun. I found a man \r\nwhose heart I hold, with a kiss, and stayed.<\/pre>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Do you remember, Wayne?
