There they are again, bearing flowers<\/span><\/p>\n

setting up beneath my window<\/span><\/p>\n

asking for me to play<\/span><\/p>\n

when whimsy will not move me<\/span><\/p>\n

busy climbing my own mountain<\/span><\/p>\n

and looking for something farther away<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Where there is love, there is a road<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The moment is too alive<\/span><\/p>\n

it\u2019s hot breath on my neck<\/span><\/p>\n

and the air is thinner up here and<\/span><\/p>\n

I am too dizzy with possibilities<\/span><\/p>\n

to methodically entrap myself<\/span><\/p>\n

In foolishness\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Where there is love, there is a road<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

For now, catalog your regrets<\/span><\/p>\n

find some salve for your soul<\/span><\/p>\n

I will be working in the night\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

when my voice is strong<\/span><\/p>\n

when we can be daring together<\/span><\/p>\n

maybe then, we can birth new fire<\/span><\/p>\n
