I’m participating in this years Poetry Marathon again.\u00a0 I really wish we had been able to do one together.\u00a0 You were the reason I started writing poetry in the first place.\u00a0 “Mandy & Nanny” will always be my favorite.<\/p>\n
You were the inspiration for some of my best work last year, as we had just recently lost you.\u00a0 I have a few that I’ve written over the years about you.\u00a0 As we write to feng shui our souls.<\/p>\n
So much has happened since you left. 2020 has been insane.\u00a0 Lex ran off to OH and got married.\u00a0 I made her headpiece from part of your dress. \ud83d\ude0d<\/p>\n
Cas and Jessi just moved to PA.\u00a0 She accepted the invitation to study at Carnegie Mellon.\u00a0 \ud83e\udd70<\/p>\n
We lost David and Ralph, I know y’all are partying up there.\ud83e\udd23<\/p>\n
Don’t worry about Daddy.\u00a0 We do Daddy Daughter Days much more often. \ud83d\ude18\u00a0 We even did a videochat with the girls this past Thursday.\ud83d\ude01<\/p>\n
We miss you every day.<\/p>\n
