distant lights of Coeur d\u2019Alene a beacon<\/p>\n
of trust – we\u2019re not in this alone.<\/p>\n

and like many things<\/p>\n
it\u2019s not always what it seems.<\/p>\n
we bathe in such calm waters<\/p>\n
fed by rivers from the hills.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
mines made money for a few<\/p>\n
provided hard work and jobs<\/p>\n
buried deep within the earth<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
trickle down washed to streams<\/p>\n
flowed into pristine lake<\/p>\n
hidden from view<\/p>\n
way down on the bottom<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
like trickle down economics<\/p>\n
as the gap widens between<\/p>\n
rich and poor<\/p>\n
healthy and sick<\/p>\n
haves and have not\u2019s<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
invisible as a virus<\/p>\n
politicized until those at the top<\/p>\n
realize that they can\u2019t imagine it away.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
that reality is more than what they think<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
the rest of us dive down to the bottom<\/p>\n
and wonder why the water seems<\/p>\n
a lot murkier than you\u2019d expect.<\/p>\n
