Where you thought you were<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Keeps hittin rewind<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Playin the before time<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou are so cherished\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Way before I even knew<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Where it was you really went<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2026\u2026\u2026 & with who<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Empty words hang in the air<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Decayed decade of lies<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Replaced by silent space <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Every time,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I glance sideways,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To see the vacancy of lies,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nonchalant,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDrummers, a dozen a dime…\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Behind shaded eyes,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m getting slammed by a semi.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
