Dear Jimmy,<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sitting here on my deck, drinking a beer, and thought I\u2019d scribble you a note.<\/p>\n
I know you\u2019re on that never-ending fishing trip with the Lord,\u00a0but I just wanted you<\/p>\n
to know that you\u2019re not missing out on much down here right\u00a0now.\u00a0I don\u2019t know if<\/p>\n
the Lord told you, but the worlds had an outbreak called Covid-19,\u00a0and it\u2019s created a<\/p>\n
planet-wide pandemic. I may be joining you in the near future,\u00a0so don\u2019t catch all the<\/p>\n
fish!\u00a0Don\u2019t worry too hard, all I and the rest of humanity\u00a0have to do is sit on our asses<\/p>\n
and\u00a0read books, write poetry, or watch Netflix.\u00a0Oh, and eat and drink! Heck, this has<\/p>\n
nothing\u00a0on the \u201cFreshman Forty\u201d when we were\u00a0in\u00a0college. Officially what we\u2019re doing<\/p>\n
is called\u00a0\u201cSocial Distancing.\u201d \u00a0This is just a fancy\u00a0term for maintaining six feet of<\/p>\n
separation at all times.\u00a0It\u2019s pretty easy for me to do\u00a0sitting\u00a0on\u00a0my deck relaxing next<\/p>\n
to the dog! \u00a0Don\u2019t think of me as\u00a0a hero. I\u2019m just doing\u00a0my\u00a0part to\u00a0save the world one<\/p>\n
poem at a time. Now, if someone has to go\u00a0out, people\u00a0are wearing\u00a0masks\u00a0and latex<\/p>\n
gloves. Also, hand washing has become the new craze\u00a0and may soon become\u00a0an<\/p>\n
Olympic sport. People are worrying that there will be economic\u00a0collapse but have no<\/p>\n
fear.\u00a0Lowe\u2019s and Home Depot are packed every day because home\u00a0remodeling is<\/p>\n
running rampant.\u00a0Well, that\u2019s about it. Mom and I still miss you and think of\u00a0you every<\/p>\n
day. Now, go land a\u00a0lunker for me!<\/p>\n
