On Maui there are no seasons<\/p>\n
Not really<\/p>\n
There is hot season, cool season, Christmas season<\/p>\n
When the whales are here<\/p>\n
And when the aren’t<\/p>\n
We are in the hot season now<\/p>\n
No whales<\/p>\n
Summer they call it<\/p>\n
But it looks like every other day<\/p>\n
Just a might bit warmer- the days a touch longer<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Maui time is real<\/p>\n
We forget to use clocks<\/p>\n
We forget what day it is<\/p>\n
What month<\/p>\n
Surrounded by intense beauty<\/p>\n
Lackadaisical<\/p>\n
Hard to tell the hippies from the business people<\/p>\n
Poets are everywhere<\/p>\n
Painters and musicians live amongst us<\/p>\n
Shoes are optional<\/p>\n
The ocean and sand are our constants<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Sometimes I miss the falling colors<\/p>\n
The first snow<\/p>\n
The fresh blooms of spring<\/p>\n
Most days I don’t<\/p>\n
I am in the season of my life<\/p>\n
Twirling in the ocean’s spell<\/p>\n
Hypnotized by the palm tree sway<\/p>\n
Carried into seasons without any signposts<\/p>\n
Drifting, swimming\u00a0 timeless<\/p>\n
