“Something is a-foul<\/p>\n
at the downtown waterfront!<\/p>\n
I tell you, no word of a lie!<\/p>\n
The geese are lined up in families!”<\/p>\n
she says. with a sorrowful sigh!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Geese are lying from shore to shore<\/p>\n
and,<\/p>\n
Swans from pier to pier!<\/p>\n
I wonder if I will ever see<\/p>\n
the beach again this year?”<\/p>\n
With a warning “Honk!” and<\/p>\n
an offensive “Hiss” from its beak,<\/p>\n
Let me tell you, foul communication is NOT<\/p>\n
for the very meek!”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I love the regal beauty of bird<\/p>\n
and their calls from distances away-<\/p>\n
But, can I now ask you…What is\u00a0 making them stay?<\/p>\n
A little less bird and a bit more beach<\/p>\n
would satisfy me lots,<\/p>\n
As opposed to this, The Season of Birds tying my stomach in knots!<\/p>\n
