By the years I spent in harness<\/p>\n
Myself small child<\/p>\n
Restrained and held<\/p>\n
To protect me from running afar<\/p>\n
I did that ran too far<\/p>\n
Can never come home<\/p>\n
Years passed I stumbled back<\/p>\n
In tiny steps I grew<\/p>\n
Aligned to other homes<\/p>\n
None served as fortress nor<\/p>\n
In tenth degrees did<\/p>\n
Fall away protect or<\/p>\n
Save me from my hero\u2019s task<\/p>\n
Jump on the horse<\/p>\n
Hold to your banner<\/p>\n
Escape and ride escape ride on<\/p>\n
I am here a selfless girl<\/p>\n
Inflicting my weapon<\/p>\n
Manipulating my banner<\/p>\n
Coming home a third time<\/p>\n
