{I had to give up}<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I had to give up yearning for you<\/div>\n
to come back to a shared reality<\/div>\n
in which a more objective view was mutual<\/div>\n
and as good as it ever would be<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
If I clung to the moments when you had some balance<\/div>\n
in no time would come the brooding dark absence<\/div>\n
evoking disdain, displeasure and defence<\/div>\n
And then I would only suffer anguish again<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
If I had not given up yearning for you<\/div>\n
to return to a tenuous pseudo norm<\/div>\n
I would be tipped as you tip within that cycle of yours<\/div>\n
Suffering would be mine as I’m weathering your storm<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I had to give up yearning for you to be alright<\/div>\n
and learn to buffer me against your moody endless flight<\/div>\n
but sometimes I forget that you’re rarely that well<\/div>\n
and that is a sadness I must reconcile with – your hell.<\/div>\n
