If you want it can include all ten words. If this prompt seems at all familiar, it is probably because we do it every year, just with different words.Heat\/Cottage\/Firefly\/Bottle\/Mask\/Porridge\/Zoom\/Lethargy\/Strange\/<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That mask you wear<\/p>\n<p>behind whose your eyes do blindly stare<\/p>\n<p>they seem to zoom into an empty place<\/p>\n<p>where you live that strange existence<\/p>\n<p>like a firefly trapped on a glued surface<\/p>\n<p>succumbing to the inevitable.<\/p>\n<p>The last time I saw you at the cottage<\/p>\n<p>you were hovering on the treeline of insanity<\/p>\n<p>an empty bourbon bottle on the floor<\/p>\n<p>another one half full on the table<\/p>\n<p>and lethargy filled the room<\/p>\n<p>like a belly full up with the morning&#8217;s porridge.<\/p>\n<p>I had tried to get through to you<\/p>\n<p>to pierce the disquiet and pull you back<\/p>\n<p>but all you did was mumble incoherently<\/p>\n<p>punctured with a stony silence.<\/p>\n<p>This time would I intervene?<\/p>\n<p>How would that be?<\/p>\n<p>Would it permanently sever us?<\/p>\n<p>In the end I had decided to leave<\/p>\n<p>and hope that you would survive to sit this one out.<\/p>\n<p>Until next time..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ajanta Judd All Rights Reserved &#8211; 7am Australian EST Prompt 9: Write a poem containing at least five of the following ten words.
