Old America is dying<\/span><\/p>\n

And this voyage is about to come to an end.<\/span><\/p>\n

Climate change<\/span><\/p>\n

Pandemic<\/span><\/p>\n

Economic collapse<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Buried hate<\/span><\/p>\n

TVs and phones burn bright.<\/span><\/p>\n

Old ghosts can not rest.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Kids killed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Daddies killed.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mommies crying.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

We aren\u2019t the champions we pretend to be.<\/span><\/p>\n

We aren\u2019t winning the race to the end.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are bloody from failure.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our lip is swollen and tastes of copper.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our eyes flinch from the light.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Soon, a new captain will take the helm,<\/span><\/p>\n

The bell will ring,<\/span><\/p>\n

The slaves will make music.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Blind no more.<\/span><\/p>\n

Fight or die.<\/span><\/p>\n

The future will crash down hard.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Hold on tight.<\/span><\/p>\n
