Here in the city<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Where big shoulders <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tower<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But sometimes I cower<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the sight of blue and red lights <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The color of freedom <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hypocrisy <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And sometimes my skin’s <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A challenge <\/p>\n\n\n\n
To an authority<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Their eyes watching me <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Yes I do,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve got a better chance of dying <\/p>\n\n\n\n
From a bullet than you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that’s just it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’m here<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And my spirit won’t<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Quit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do your worst<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I whisper it <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those ideas get us killed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even keeping your head down<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Isn’t a guarantee <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And sometimes <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wonder why we’re <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brown<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I exist <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And that’s ok<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think as long as I <\/p>\n\n\n\n
