The heat of the cottage<\/p>\n
Midsummer<\/p>\n
Is unbearable<\/p>\n
The tree-line barely visible<\/p>\n
against the dark sky<\/p>\n
The firefly lands<\/p>\n
In the bottle bottom<\/p>\n
Looking out into a strange world<\/p>\n
Unfamiliar<\/p>\n
It grows lethargic, lost<\/p>\n
A prisoner of a child<\/p>\n
Who will reject it’s porridge<\/p>\n
On morning light<\/p>\n
Unwilling to let it go<\/p>\n
