I may have even met her already,

\nOr will Cupid fail me yet again,
\nThe way he did with Sharon.<\/p>\n
And Tara, and Sammy and Nicole.
\nEach time my heart had fluttered,
\nEach time I had had sleepless nights,
\nBut each time \u2018NO\u2019 they had uttered.<\/p>\n
But Susan, I feel, will look past my awkwardness,
\nShe does smile at me after all,
\nHopefully she\u2019ll see my devotion, my loyalty,
\nAnd for once, someone will accept me being an oddball.<\/p>\n
Today is the day I\u2019ll finally do it,
\nFind courage to ask her on a date,
\nI\u2019m positive she\u2019ll say a \u2018Yes\u2019 to my request,
\nI\u2019m sure she will realize I am her soulmate.<\/p>\n
I grab a dozen lilies \u2013 her favourite,
\nAnd make my way towards her front door,
\nGod I hope she says yes,
\nThere are only so many bodies my little basement can store.<\/p>\n
