I have no idea about what to write.<\/p>\n

My body doesn’t function properly at night.<\/p>\n

My eyes feel heavy and tired<\/p>\n

And if this is how my brain works, I think it should be fired.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I could just curl up and sleep.<\/p>\n

But then I won’t complete the marathon and that will make me weep.<\/p>\n

It’s 10 minutes past half past twelve<\/p>\n

And I’m still sitting here feeling sorry for myself.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Only, like, a few words on the page.<\/p>\n

This frustrates me and fills me with rage.<\/p>\n

I’m literally scribbling anything that comes to mind.<\/p>\n

Because time is something tough to find.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I think I’m falling asleep with my eyes open<\/p>\n

While trying to write words that I feel should be spoken.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, yeah, this poem is going to turn out terrible.<\/p>\n

But, hopefully, it will be slightly bearable.<\/p>\n

And I apologize if it doesn’t make sense<\/p>\n

But right now I’m not living in the present tense.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

My brain has turned into foam<\/p>\n

Just from writing this poem.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Oh, and did I mention that my legs are experiencing severe cramps?<\/p>\n
