In this busy world,
\nWhere everyone is rushing to meet deadlines,
\nTo make both the ends meet all the times,
\nI wonder if anyone yearns for some solitude?<\/p>\n
I wonder,
\nIf just for a minute people stop,
\nThey don’t worry about the road jamming traffic,
\nAbout missing the train,
\nAbout the promotion they didn’t get,
\nAbout not being able to go back home during the weekend.<\/p>\n
I wonder,
\nIf just for a minute,
\nDo they yearn for solitude?
\nFor freedom from all these anxious thoughts?
\nFor a time out?
\nFor a few seconds to catch their breaths?<\/p>\n
Solitude for everyone holds different meanings,
\nFor a hermit solitude would be a forest or a cave,
\nAway from human civilization.<\/p>\n
For a reader,
\nSolitude would be a library,
\nWhere she could get lost in the world of literary.<\/p>\n
For a chef,
\nSolitude would be a kitchen,
\nCooking dishes seems to calm her faster than any medicine.<\/p>\n
For me,
\nSolitude is a cup of coffee.
\nAs the bittersweet flavor of coffee would wake my sleeping senses,
\nI would pick up a book,
\nRevel in the fantasy world,
\nLive the lives of different people,
\nTravel far and wide,
\nWithout even leaving my home.<\/p>\n
Solitude,
\nHolds different meanings for everyone.
\nThe question is where is your solitude?
