From the mouth’s arching cathedral<\/p>\n

Into the world<\/p>\n

As little girl’s<\/p>\n

Homespun melody<\/p>\n

—<\/p>\n

Then the ribbon tangled<\/p>\n

On other’s criticism<\/p>\n

Snarled in shame<\/p>\n

Faded in a heap<\/p>\n

At the bottom<\/p>\n

Of the chest’s deep<\/p>\n

—<\/p>\n

Until thread by thread<\/p>\n

It reweaves<\/p>\n

Gather’s in wind’s pipes<\/p>\n

Breeches the mouths’ dam<\/p>\n

Pouring forth once more<\/p>\n
