Kept on a list <\/p>\n
We obey their rules <\/p>\n
In the hope of receiving a reward <\/p>\n
Or avoiding the list of those that dissent <\/p>\n
Who\u2019s on what list? <\/p>\n
Are you one of the well behaved? <\/p>\n
Are you? <\/p>\n
Did you follow these rules? <\/p>\n
Did you? <\/p>\n
These arbitrary constructs! <\/p>\n
Decided by another <\/p>\n
Far more powerful than ourselves <\/p>\n
An individual more in control of our lives <\/p>\n
Than any nefarious Gestapo or Stazi <\/p>\n
Shrouded in disbelief! <\/p>\n
Indoctrinating our children! <\/p>\n
The most complete network of control over human life <\/p>\n
That the world has ever seen <\/p>\n
With access to every home <\/p>\n
Access to every room <\/p>\n
Every Family in the world. <\/p>\n
No lock can bar their path <\/p>\n
And no door can prevent entry <\/p>\n
All powerful <\/p>\n
Terrible and terrifying <\/p>\n
We may wish to resist but no one can <\/p>\n
We can\u2019t stop him <\/p>\n
Evil personified <\/p>\n
