I want to stay away from the USA<\/p>\n
I know not all of it is fundamental religiosity<\/p>\n
But I have no burning curiosity to see<\/p>\n
A land happy in origin of its rejection of me<\/p>\n
Its symbols are crashing and being torn<\/p>\n
Down beneath banners<\/p>\n
The souls of the undead govern and rally cries<\/p>\n
of white supremacists are heard<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It scares me. A country<\/p>\n
Whose main difference is that<\/p>\n
It operates blatantly<\/p>\n
Where mine remains bound<\/p>\n
By the pleasantries of political play.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s like a game to some I\u2019m sure<\/p>\n
But they\u2019re dying by their thousands<\/p>\n
It fills me with fear<\/p>\n
The rhetoric of the USA<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve passed through its gates<\/p>\n
A conduit for home or adventure<\/p>\n
But it\u2019s not pulled me in to Vegas or Washington<\/p>\n
And I\u2019ve got plenty of good friends<\/p>\n
And people I know who remain<\/p>\n
Trapped state by state\u00a0 <\/span>but this game<\/p>\n Of legal organisation is wearing thin<\/p>\n Even for them and I wish I had a chain<\/p>\n I could throw out to them to escape<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Cowards wear running shoes and<\/p>\n Patriots wear caps.
