filling the stubby end with water<\/p>\n
slowly slowly<\/p>\n
my seat would rise<\/p>\n
lift above the house<\/p>\n
above the streetlights and treetops<\/p>\n
towering above all notice<\/p>\n
into to the high-up dark of night<\/p>\n
where I could sit and dangle<\/p>\n
recline under the stars<\/p>\n
count moonbeams<\/p>\n
visit with nightbirds<\/p>\n
be king in<\/p>\n
my own kingdom for a time<\/p>\n
peaceful<\/p>\n
unnoticed<\/p>\n
until I tug the string and pull the plug tiny<\/p>\n
let the water escape the assemblage slowly<\/p>\n
channel happiness to the garden<\/p>\n
water unwasted<\/p>\n
released<\/p>\n
restored to new purpose<\/p>\n
as old as old bones<\/p>\n
and I touch down<\/p>\n
as a visitor to earth<\/p>\n
