No peace.<\/p>\n<p>I have no place in this Metropolis.<br \/>\nI cannot go there; I cannot be there.<\/p>\n<p>Culture is overshadowed by crowding.<br \/>\nDaring eclipsed by danger.<br \/>\nInnovation obscured by insolence.<\/p>\n<p>Tugboats, taxis, ocean liners, airplanes \u2014<br \/>\nendless turbulence, constant confusion.<br \/>\nBrash, bossy, brazen.<\/p>\n<p>Executive suites and slums.<br \/>\nLimousines and subways.<br \/>\nAll that\u2019s right and all that\u2019s wrong with America.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Metropolis The smell, the noise, the traffic is too much.
