I saw a firefly zoom by me,<\/p>\n
as if he were invited to drink and eat,<\/p>\n
of the porridge I just cooked.<\/p>\n
An aroma of unknown fare,<\/p>\n
captured his attention so much so,<\/p>\n
he was not aware that I was there,<\/p>\n
wearing a mask, in my favorite seat!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There, on the patio of my cottage,<\/p>\n
I sat basking in the warmth of Summer’s heat,<\/p>\n
as usual, drinking a cold bottle of Pepsi Cola.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
He begin to appear lethargic,<\/p>\n
flitting back and forth,<\/p>\n
from the yard to the treeline,<\/p>\n
trying to locate this exotic plant,<\/p>\n
that produced this strange food,<\/p>\n
and\u00a0 almost caused him to lose his way.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Flying forward, buzzing backward,<\/p>\n
wings flapping at an inordinate rate,<\/p>\n
he paused in mid-air,<\/p>\n
realizing he was just confused,<\/p>\n
