This time gravity went straight to the heart.<\/p>\n
Imagine that!<\/p>\n
The private passion touched my cortex<\/p>\n
which, pre-erupted a skin dive sitting on that plane.<\/p>\n
That ecstatic connection, the richness of us<\/p>\n
flying over the hinterland all lush and fecund – just like you.<\/p>\n
Step by step passion boogied down through the onion skin layers<\/p>\n
in the expectation and hesitation\u00a0I was swept away in fantasy.<\/p>\n
You little lion tamer you!<\/p>\n
Did you think you could get away with it? Playing catch me if you can?<\/p>\n
Lulling me into a false sense of security? Not this time baby!<\/p>\n
When I’m on solid ground surrounded by my heartlands<\/p>\n
My equilibrium will return. Am I deluding myself?<\/p>\n
I need you to know that you won’t get your wicked way.<\/p>\n
I’m not straightening up for your coquettishness.<\/p>\n
My weakness is a space between who I am and who you want me to be<\/p>\n
but you won’t snare me this time!<\/p>\n
Yet when I really look, what do I see?<\/p>\n
The glistening ocean from the plane window – the deep green meandering rivers flashing by<\/p>\n
Is it the illusion of sky reflected in the water<\/p>\n
or, the illusion of water appearing in the sky?<\/p>\n
A giant mirage with you the disappearing oasis.<\/p>\n
We are fooled by these games of hide and seek, lost between reality, reverie and dream.<\/p>\n
My thoughts scramble for order as we prepare for landing<\/p>\n
I ready myself for my favourite treat – reverse thrust<\/p>\n
I could ride the exhilaration of reverse thrust forever<\/p>\n
But with you? I’m not so sure.<\/p>\n
