Spicy Tagine<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
All those spices together<\/p>\n
What an exotic complexion they create<\/p>\n
While the lemon zest and garlic linger<\/p>\n
Such a pungent air it creates<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The gently browned chicken<\/p>\n
Infused with lemons astringency<\/p>\n
Melting in their mouths<\/p>\n
I admit, I smiled with astringency<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The caramelization<\/p>\n
And those glorious pan scrapings so sticky<\/p>\n
Still paused on the plates<\/p>\n
As things began to get sticky<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The tagine tower<\/p>\n
Rising above the table of plenty<\/p>\n
gentle steam rising<\/p>\n
Blessing air of plenty<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A brief sojourn to Morocco<\/p>\n
Embodying the spirit<\/p>\n
What does this spiciness announce<\/p>\n
But the glass-tapping spirit<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
