{"id":71735,"date":"2020-06-27T22:00:46","date_gmt":"2020-06-28T02:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=71735"},"modified":"2020-06-29T17:07:26","modified_gmt":"2020-06-29T21:07:26","slug":"drive","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/drive\/","title":{"rendered":"Drive (hour 3) by Mrs. J"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Driving is an everyday task<\/p>\n<p>But how is it that I ask?<\/p>\n<p>I sit there on the passenger side<\/p>\n<p>looking next to the driver as we ride<\/p>\n<p>He backs out the parking lot<\/p>\n<p>Then makes a turn around a curb.<\/p>\n<p>Then drive on to our destination as he finds the perfect spot<\/p>\n<p>I just saw him drive<\/p>\n<p>Driving is an everyday task<\/p>\n<p>But how is it that I ask?<\/p>\n<p>Me and Mom make plans to go to Walmart<\/p>\n<p>She is careful not to run off the road<\/p>\n<p>Nor run the red light<\/p>\n<p>or any objects seen in sight<\/p>\n<p>At last she has dropped me back at home<\/p>\n<p>Kids are upstairs with husband when I get in<\/p>\n<p>giving me enough time to let my thoughts roam<\/p>\n<p>Driving is an everyday task<\/p>\n<p>But how shall I ask?<\/p>\n<p>I know family , friends, and people who travel abroad<\/p>\n<p>even those right in my city I watch drive effortlessly I applaud<\/p>\n<p>Driving is an everyday task<\/p>\n<p>But who shall I ask?<\/p>\n<p>One of my sweetest friends<\/p>\n<p>Have tons of great ideas for quick and easy hairdos for me that will never end<\/p>\n<p>As we ride in her car<\/p>\n<p>I see one of the greatest thing that she does like a sister<\/p>\n<p>is encourage me by keeping me up to par<\/p>\n<p>that in order for me to drive on my own one day is to believe that God has already answered my prayers..<\/p>\n<p>to let me drive up to speed<\/p>\n<p>I have already asked the right One- yes,indeed!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Driving is an everyday task But how is it that I ask?
