We flew across the ocean<\/p>\n

We took a bus<\/p>\n
To a Hotel<\/p>\n
We ordered pizza in<\/p>\n
Too tired to go out<\/p>\n
We took a bus to meet a train<\/p>\n
The train rich, luxurious<\/p>\n
Through the mountains<\/p>\n
Landscape high and wild on all sides<\/p>\n
At the end of the tunnel<\/p>\n
We met a ship,<\/p>\n
Tall, glistening<\/p>\n
We waited to board her<\/p>\n
In a long line<\/p>\n
Excited<\/p>\n
She was luxurious<\/p>\n
As Royal as her name<\/p>\n
Tall staircases, gold and glass<\/p>\n
Rich carpeted hallways<\/p>\n
Fine dining, rich desserts<\/p>\n
We watched Alaska from our balcony<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There would be a small bi-plane<\/p>\n
To show us glaciers<\/p>\n
Buses, always buses<\/p>\n
Another train, not roomy and luxurious<\/p>\n
But enjoyable<\/p>\n
Back to the ship<\/p>\n
Luxury<\/p>\n
Balloon drops<\/p>\n
and dancing<\/p>\n
Family Dinners and photos<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Over too soon<\/p>\n
We ended in Vancouver<\/p>\n
A bus, a gondola<\/p>\n
Waterfalls and a copper mine<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Our plane home was gone<\/p>\n
No one had told us<\/p>\n
I spent dinner on the phone<\/p>\n
Our TA found us another one<\/p>\n
Small, crowded, a budget airliner<\/p>\n
But it got us home<\/p>\n
Back over the ocean<\/p>\n
To our tiny Maui<\/p>\n
Our measily jobs<\/p>\n
Our messy apartment<\/p>\n
Our traumatized cat<\/p>\n
I can’t wait to do it again<\/p>\n
