{"id":72482,"date":"2020-06-27T23:35:29","date_gmt":"2020-06-28T03:35:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/?p=72482"},"modified":"2020-06-27T23:35:29","modified_gmt":"2020-06-28T03:35:29","slug":"prompt-15-post-15-up-up-and-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepoetrymarathon.com\/blog\/2020\/06\/prompt-15-post-15-up-up-and-away\/","title":{"rendered":"Prompt 15 ~ Post # 15 Up, Up and Away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Browsing around the plane<\/p>\n<p>it seemed quite out of date.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t want to worry<\/p>\n<p>we&#8217;d already left the gate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Twas not till the first drop<\/p>\n<p>many began to worry.<\/p>\n<p>We couldn&#8217;t turn back now<\/p>\n<p>cuz we were in a hurry.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But with the second one<\/p>\n<p>and more intense this time.<\/p>\n<p>We heard the pilot clearly,<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re turning around on a dime!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Then prayer got louder and louder<\/p>\n<p>as fear was everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>Could all our lives be lost<\/p>\n<p>as we fell out of mid-air?<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, many kissed the ground<\/p>\n<p>as we boarded off the plane.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m convinced it was only angels<\/p>\n<p>who kept us safe and sane!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u2708\u2708<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>by Del Bates<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Browsing around the plane it seemed quite out of date.
