GRETEL MEET LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hour 15 (a prompt from Write The Story book.\u00a0 Mash up two classic fairy tales.\u00a0 I\u2019m starting to get a little punchy)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>HANSEL AND GRETEL MEET LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She headed out with her basket of goodies and treats<\/p>\n<p>Some things for her dear sick grandmother to eat.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She hummed and she skipped down the path through the wood<\/p>\n<p>Her basket in hand, wearing her bright red capped hood<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Up ahead were two kids looking lost and alone<\/p>\n<p>She felt she could help them, try to find their way home<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Hansel &amp; Gretel soon learned that Red\u2019s basket was filled<\/p>\n<p>Enough food for them all, they were happy, they were thrilled<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Being lost made them hungry, would Red Riding Hood share<\/p>\n<p>They could dine at her grandma\u2019s, they were almost there<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She agreed to oblige them upon their arrival<\/p>\n<p>For she knew that nutrition is a key to survival<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They hustled along til they spotted some trouble<\/p>\n<p>An old witch and a wolf were crouched down in some rubble<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They both started drooling, with lunch on their mind<\/p>\n<p>The threesome could tell they might be in a bind<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Whispering to one another, they figured a way<\/p>\n<p>To reach Red\u2019s dear grandmas without much delay<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Up ahead was a house made of candy and sweets<\/p>\n<p>Made to entice those three youngsters to stop in and eat<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They knew it was part of the witches attack<\/p>\n<p>To lure them in with her plentiful snacks<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019d end up as dinner for the evil old witch<\/p>\n<p>Now was the time to feed her their pitch<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They called out to the witch and they convincingly lied<\/p>\n<p>About wanting to rest could they please come inside<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The witch and the wolf yelled back, please be our guests<\/p>\n<p>Come in and sit down and let us do the rest<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The witch and the wolf ran ahead with delight<\/p>\n<p>Never dreaming the threesome were ready to fight<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The kettle on the fire was already a boil<\/p>\n<p>Hansel very quietly reached for his foil<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gretel managed to pick up a hand full of sand<\/p>\n<p>They watched for the signal from Red Riding Hood\u2019s hand<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They backed up the witch and the wolf with the foil<\/p>\n<p>Blew the sand in their face and they fell in the boil<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The deed had been done, they were free from that fate<\/p>\n<p>They could head on to grandmas, before it got late<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Red Riding Hood made Hansel and Gretel a vow<\/p>\n<p>That she\u2019d get them home some way, some how<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Grandmas house soon was filled with good food and much laughter<\/p>\n<p>And you know the rest\u2026&#8230;they lived happily after.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hour 15 (a prompt from Write The Story book.\u00a0 Mash up two classic fairy tales.\u00a0 I\u2019m starting to get a little punchy) &nbsp;
