It’s after hours, but the doors are still open,<\/p>\n
music spills out onto the sidewalk,<\/p>\n
mingling with the soft moonlight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A couple\u00a0spills out with the music,<\/p>\n
loud and drunk and falling on one another,<\/p>\n
but they are soon\u00a0softened by the moonlight.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They raise their faces to one another<\/p>\n
as before they raised their glasses,<\/p>\n
they quiet, feeling the night on their faces.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The moon baths them in light,<\/p>\n
this night that was never dark,<\/p>\n
as the sun slowly rises.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
It was quite a night,<\/p>\n
they just met, these two lovers.<\/p>\n
It will be a good morning.<\/p>\n
