Red, vibrant<\/strong>
\nIn the beginning there was energy.
\nOr so the scientists would have us think.
\nIt’s still around, in everything,
\nmoving back and forth, up and down,
\nin circles and patterns.
\nVibrating eternal life.
\nFlowing through you,
\nas the colour of your blood
\nmatches that of my lips.<\/p>\n

Orange, creativity
\n<\/strong>In the beginning there was creation.
\nWhether by external force,
\nor by itself –
\nthat may be debatable.
\nRecreating nature’s beauty,
\nnow that’s a challenge for life.<\/p>\n

Yellow, wisdom
\n<\/strong>Wise men and women
\nare often portrayed
\nwith grey hair.
\nAnd yet, wisdom is not
\nnecessarily related to
\nage, hair or teeth.<\/p>\n

Green, nature
\n<\/strong>Green is the colour
\nof all things good
\nand safe
\nand friendly.
\nAnd yet you will
\nthrow out your cheese
\nwhen it turns green,
\nno matter how
\nnatural that is.<\/p>\n

Blue, divinity
\n<\/strong>If blue means divinity,
\nwould feeling blue
\nmake someone divine?
\nPerhaps the most
\ncontroversial colour,
\nwith so many different meanings
\nin other languages and cultures.<\/p>\n

Indigo, infinity
\n<\/strong>May we all be reborn,
\nas indigo children,
\ncontinuing the infinite circle
\nof life. Coming back.<\/p>\n

Violet, spirituality
\n<\/strong>I believe in a spiritual
\nconnection between all
\nliving beings and nature,
\nwhether we need divinity
\nto define it, or not, we are
\nall one.<\/p>\n
