a nightmare\u2019s more<\/p>\n
of what\u2019s in store<\/p>\n
with heaving lungs<\/p>\n
and paling tongues<\/p>\n
I cannot promise you good rest<\/p>\n
your sleep will haunt you<\/p>\n
horror\u2019s best<\/p>\n
no breath, you fear this most of all<\/p>\n
ne\u2019er reaching rail before you fall<\/p>\n
deep in inky darkness all<\/p>\n
damp and cluttered, closed-in walls<\/p>\n
a King I see, his throne is high<\/p>\n
adorned with flashy sharpened knives<\/p>\n
all it takes is just one cut<\/p>\n
and screaming, goes your mangled throat<\/p>\n
but he envisions life from death<\/p>\n
you come back, jester instead<\/p>\n
if laugh, you cannot this king make<\/p>\n
your impaled head upon his stake<\/p>\n
and startled, then you shake awake<\/p>\n
a macabre book beneath your pate.<\/p>\n
