Many Parts, One Body<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We humans like to fancy ourselves as independent,<\/p>\n
Able to handle our own problems,<\/p>\n
Capable of doing good deeds without prompting.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
When we become a follower of The Way,<\/p>\n
However, that independent streak becomes problematic.<\/p>\n
We are called by Creator to lay down our independence<\/p>\n
and learn to be interdependent on one another.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That was the original plan.<\/p>\n
That we, though many, would become one body,<\/p>\n
one living organism, serving each other<\/p>\n
and the greater community around us.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
That still is the plan. Creator does not have a Plan B.<\/p>\n
And neither do we.<\/p>\n
Is it hard to change our mindset? Yes.<\/p>\n
Do we hate the process it takes to get us there? Yes.<\/p>\n
Do our egos get battered when everyone gets credit<\/p>\n
for the wonderful event we planned and executed? Oh, yes.<\/p>\n
But Creator\u2019s plan is more important<\/p>\n
than my bruised ego.<\/p>\n
