Light, I sit and wait for thee<\/p>\n
fragmented in my iced tea<\/p>\n
ripples reflected in coffee<\/p>\n
while I arise to meet the day<\/p>\n
gold shining ball blinds my work-way<\/p>\n
speckled alight the balls of dew<\/p>\n
catch the sun on flowers too<\/p>\n
it\u2019s dimmer, when babies slumber take<\/p>\n
and glowing, while I\u2019m wide awake<\/p>\n
while writing poems and tomes alike<\/p>\n
or shimmering snake-like in the waves<\/p>\n
moonlight beams are all the rave<\/p>\n
and sunset, purples, oranges, blues<\/p>\n
ends the day, but light\u2019s there, too<\/p>\n
fires my imagination anew<\/p>\n
and right before I sleep and dream<\/p>\n
my phone\u2019s glow is the last I see<\/p>\n
till sunrise brights the day with glee<\/p>\n
or should I die, in wonder, me<\/p>\n
where luminous gates and heaven be.<\/p>\n
