Traveling by night. Following a stranger. Hoping I do right.<\/p>\n
No kin will ever cross a desert to aee a body
\nInterred in sand and time.<\/p>\n
But my onyx mind suggests if I search
\nFor kin
\nFor friends
\nFor love<\/p>\n
There will be none to find.<\/p>\n
I let this man take us on. The body. Me.<\/p>\n
I know when I depart, I can’t truly be free.<\/p>\n
I will leave this body in a whole.<\/p>\n
I will let the sand and cracks
\nAs the skin peels away.<\/p>\n
I will try to tell others of the body.<\/p>\n
My onyx mind suggests<\/p>\n
They will mumble something about only a whore<\/p>\n
Turn back to their garden<\/p>\n
And leave me to carry this body<\/p>\n
