So she’ll reciprocate<\/p>\n
With grace.<\/p>\n
But don’t spin her a line,<\/p>\n
Because it’s only a\u00a0very fine<\/p>\n
One between playing games<\/p>\n
And causing untold pains,<\/p>\n
And once you’ve caught her<\/p>\n
She’ll\u00a0lose all appeal,<\/p>\n
And you’ll be back to reel<\/p>\n
Another one in,<\/p>\n
Promising safety from sharks with hidden fins<\/p>\n
Offering\u00a0acceptance of\u00a0all of their sins,<\/p>\n
Then using them like needles and pins<\/p>\n
To pierce the surface and damage what’s within.<\/p>\n
