Forgive yourself<\/div>\n
Stop blaming yourself for what you\u2019ve been through<\/div>\n
They told you it was all your fault<\/div>\n
But they\u2019re the ones who turned you into the victim<\/div>\n
It wasn\u2019t your fault<\/div>\n
The abuse<\/div>\n
The assault<\/div>\n
You defended yourself…you fought<\/div>\n
Forgive yourself<\/div>\n
For feeling guilty over the pain they caused you<\/div>\n
For having men who didn\u2019t know how to act like real men<\/div>\n
Who abandoned you<\/div>\n
Who gave a constant reminder of you not being good enough<\/div>\n
Who told you that you would never be worth it<\/div>\n
It\u2019s not your fault they crushed you<\/div>\n
Or told you that you\u2019re not beautiful<\/div>\n
And I know in the end<\/div>\n
It caused you to forget your purpose…<\/div>\n
…it allowed Devil to make you to feel worthless<\/div>\n
Please forgive yourself<\/div>\n
For always trying to find the good in people<\/div>\n
Even though the red flags were waving boldly<\/div>\n
Wearing those rose colored glasses blocked your vision<\/div>\n
You didn\u2019t deserve how they treated you<\/div>\n
They were being selfish<\/div>\n
And they knew you were selfless<\/div>\n
Stop punishing yourself<\/div>\n
Unclench your jaw<\/div>\n
Lower your shoulders<\/div>\n
Breathe<\/div>\n
They tried to destroy you<\/div>\n
But God said this isn\u2019t the end<\/div>\n
Straighten your crown<\/div>\n
But most importantly<\/div>\n
Forgive them so you can…<\/div>\n
