He had walked his path,<\/p>\n
But destination eluded him,<\/p>\n
His wants dying on his tongue,<\/p>\n
with all the mouths he had to feed.<\/p>\n
In his despair, he couldn’t see,<\/p>\n
He had enriched lives so many,<\/p>\n
One was an engineer,<\/p>\n
another, a photographer,<\/p>\n
they owed their lives to him<\/p>\n
he had kept them off the streets,<\/p>\n
If only he saw himself with their eyes,<\/p>\n
he’d see he was taller than the giants.<\/p>\n
