this is for the poets,<\/p>\n
writing a poem every hour for 24 isn’t a mean feat,<\/p>\n
it’s a gift to know emotion,<\/p>\n
to push hyperbole past lies and visuals past words,<\/p>\n
here we colour,<\/p>\n
in colors so surreal they crowd the mind,<\/p>\n
dull the bright its been a long day yet you still write,<\/p>\n
to the dreamers and the doubter,<\/p>\n
you’re unique never doubt yourself,<\/p>\n
your work is magnifique<\/p>\n
never fail to understand,<\/p>\n
we have been blessed with the gift to write,<\/p>\n
to see images and listen to stories and create magic from what was just Tom’s pain day,<\/p>\n
to be in touch with your emotions,<\/p>\n
today has shown me they’ll never be<\/p>\n
exhausted.<\/p>\n
