Mellada glides through the halls of the hiding<\/p>\n
Searching the quiet and with her time biding<\/p>\n
Her women in waiting are noiselessly crying<\/p>\n
Under the thundering of crashes subsiding<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The walls of the halls with seawater dripping<\/p>\n
Sheltering, sweltering, saps strength from the living<\/p>\n
But Mellada\u2019sures them, with comforting smiling<\/p>\n
The stones of the crone all beguiling with scrying<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
None see the wink, the blink passing slyly<\/p>\n
\u2018tween crone and queen for the calming of lying<\/p>\n
Searching the quiet, preparing morn\u2019s breaking<\/p>\n
Dreaming is passing with sighing and waking<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
There is calm in resigning, a peaceful abiding<\/p>\n
Finding new life in declining the fighting<\/p>\n
Their warriors\u2019 deaths on the wind news is blowing<\/p>\n
Chiming and banging, the death tolls extolling<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The clanging with sunrise outside the hall\u2019s hiding<\/p>\n
Alarms and disturbs with a dragon force flying<\/p>\n
The wind of his wings crashes boulders high piling<\/p>\n
And blocking the holes to the halls of the hiding<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Mellada sings through the halls of the hiding<\/p>\n
Her voice lowly mewling from shadows soft spreading<\/p>\n
Her women in waiting like whispers receding<\/p>\n
Till oceans of time with their gods they\u2019re pleading<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A hush lines the still dripping halls of the hiding<\/p>\n
Where Mellada died with her women in waiting<\/p>\n
Their souls washed with mem\u2019ries of saltwater sinking<\/p>\n
And ocean rocks filt\u2019ring their bones for the seining<\/p>\n
