SOMETIMES<\/p>\n
Sometimes!<\/p>\n
Sometimes I don’t know the day,<\/p>\n
Will my body give permission to stay.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I’m not sure how to think,<\/p>\n
My body cries for one more drink.<\/p>\n
Sometimes out the window I look,<\/p>\n
I try to sit in a chair and read a book.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I wake up and salute the moon,<\/p>\n
My head feels heavy, larger than a balloon.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I hear people call me a drunk,<\/p>\n
I have a date to be placed in Earth’s trunk.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I ask who I am, I know not me,<\/p>\n
I look in the mirror, a shadow do I see.<\/p>\n
Sometimes I’m not the person you knew,<\/p>\n
Always be my friend and bring the brew.<\/p>\n
Sometimes when the parties over I’m awake,<\/p>\n
I promise no more drinks will I ever take!<\/p>\n
