So to coffee #2 &amp; a small chocolaty treat)<br \/>\n#71<\/p>\n<p>when i was at uni, i was in a band<br \/>\n(one half of an average rhythm section)<br \/>\nthe other louder half always said:<br \/>\n\u201csave a drum, bang a drummer\u201d<br \/>\ni\u2019m not sure that line ever worked<br \/>\nbut, i couldn\u2019t talk: being the bassist<\/p>\n<p>as far as bangs go, it wasn\u2019t<br \/>\nthe biggest, nor by any stretch<br \/>\nthe best, it was simply the last<br \/>\nwhich is the reason i remember<br \/>\nour vocalist punched the drummer<br \/>\nmidway through Maggie\u2019s Farm<\/p>\n<p>&amp; so the less-than-stellar musical career of<br \/>\n<i>The (Quantum) Mechanical Engineers<\/i>\u00a0&#8230; ended<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/garethroi.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/oldbingocard1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-637 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/garethroi.files.wordpress.com\/2015\/06\/oldbingocard1.jpg?w=256\" alt=\"OldBingoCard\" width=\"256\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><em><br \/>\nNB I&#8217;ve decided (now I&#8217;m on a roll) to give a preview of my next number.
